World’s Ugliest Dog Top Pedigree 2009 Miss Ellie passes away

I had the joy of writing an article last year about Miss Ellie, the a pure breed Chinese crested hairless from Tennessee who took home top honors in the pedigree category at the 2009 Sonoma-Marin Fair’s Ugliest Dog Competition. Sadly, we just received notice from Miss Ellie’s owner, Dawn Goehring, that Miss Ellie passed away this week. Keep reading for an adorable photo of Miss Ellie, a video with Dawn and links to Miss Ellie’s web site promoting her efforts to raise one million dollars to help build a new animal shelter.
