Snooki & JWoww Season 2 to begin filming next month in Morristown, NJ

Snooki & JWoww

Snooki & JWoww may still be airing its first season, but there are already plans for the show’s second season. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley will take on a new town for season two, which begins filming next month, and fans are going to love what is in store for them. We’re talking big things. Huge things!

According to a new report, Jordan Nefouse of 495 Productions has announced Snooki & Jwoww will begin filming in Morristown, New Jersey on August 9 and run through October 14. Nefouse also informed the town, “These dates are subject to change by a few days and we’ll of course keep you up to date.”

Ironically, the girls will not be living in Morristown. They will only be there to filming outings such as dinner dates, shopping, and things of that nature. In Nefouse’s statement, he explains that the duo will be seen as they “walk down public sidewalks to privately owned locations such as bars, clubs and restaurants which have been pre-cleared for them to enjoy their evenings.”

Snooki & JWoww

Snooki will be residing with her fiance Jionni Lavalle at his home in East Hanover. Jenni has been living with her boyfriend Roger Matthews, so it’s fairly safe to assume that she will remain there with him.

The first season featured the beginning stages of Snooki’s pregnancy, so it’s only right that we get to see the final stages, right? Snooki is scheduled to give birth to a baby boy, who she will call Lorenzo, in early September, which means that not only will we see the moments leading up to her birth, we’ll also get to see her as a new mommy. Plus, if we know Snooki (and we think we do), it wouldn’t be that shocking to see the birth of her baby on the show! (MTV is pretty experienced at delivery room documentaries, remember.)

In addition to that super exciting news, Roger recently told the press about his plans to propose to JWoww. “I don’t have any date set, but soon. Things are going really well with us.” Dear Roger, if you are reading this, please wait to propose until the Snooki & JWoww season 2 cameras a rolling. Thanks. (I want to see JWoww tear up with emotion!)

A baby and a proposal? How perfect would that be?

You may remember how much trouble Snooki and JWoww had finding a town to film their first season in, but this time around, they’ve had no problem. Even the town’s mayor, Tim Dougherty, seems to be totally cool with it — but that may be because he doesn’t know who they are. When he first heard about the potential project, Dougherty admits thinking JWoww referred to a man. But ignorance is bliss, right? “We’re a very happening town. The downtown is very vibrant,” he said. “I just have to sit down with the chief, BA, council president and look at logistics, how it affects downtown, our citizens. Is it going to have a negative or positive effect? We just want to make sure it’s not disruptive to our citizens.”

Uh oh. Let’s hope this guy doesn’t look up “disruptive” in a recent dictionary because I’m sure Snooki’s photo is in there by now.

You can catch Snooki & JWoww season 1 every Thursday night at 10/9c on MTV — even if you have DirecTV.
