Before the 10th season of American Idol began airing a month and a half ago I decided to pick one of the performers that reportedly received a Golden Ticket (There were many “spoiler” lists circulating online at the time) and do a profile.
After surfing through numerous MySpace pages and watching an endless string of audience-recorded YouTube videos I chose 21-year-old Pia Toscana from Howard Beach, New York because it seemed like she had everything it takes to attract a large fan base (an interesting story, she’s charismatic, and I concede that she is VERY attractive) and also the raw talent to actually win the competition. Pia did not disappoint! Her performance of the Pretenders’ “I’ll Stand By You” Wednesday night brought the first standing ovation from the judges’ table and even inspired Randy Jackson to say it was one of the greatest performance in the ten-year history of the show. ANYWAYS… Pia and the other finalists were in attendance at the American Idol finalists party at The Rooftop Parking structure at The Grove in Los Angeles, California last night and I thought I would share some photos of the mind-blowing American Idol dominator Pia Toscano from the event.
