PHOTOS Jessica Simpson is pregnant and expecting her third child

Jessica Simpson and her husband, former NFL player Eric Johnson, are expecting their third child together. The singer enlisted the help of her two kids, Maxi and Ace, to share the exciting news.

“Surprise,” Jessica announced. “This little baby girl will make us a family of five. We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life.”

Jessica followed up the pregnancy announcement by posing for a picture (shown above) showcasing her new baby bump. She captioned the photo simply, “My baby love.”

No word yet on when the baby #3 is due.

May 2010: Jessica and Eric start dating

May 2012: Jessica gives birth to their first child daughter Maxwell “Maxi” Drew

The proud mom-to-be wrote confidently, “Bumpin’ and Proud!”
