Ben’s social media posts still remain: He took to Facebook to praise his new wife and remind people to thank God for their blessings…
“I’m SO blessed to be married to the Love of my life! God has greatly blessed me! What is a way that God has blessed you recently?” the 19-year-old asked. “If you are reading this, when is the lest time you thanked God for giving you sight? If you are hearing this, when is the last time you thanked God that you could hear? What about God’s air that you’re breathing, or that next heartbeat that you take for granted? We’ve got a lot to be thankful for, and if we boast, let us boast in God!”
He later added a picture with a quote from pastor Voddie Baucham. He captioned it #committment and #truelove.
Meanwhile, there are some new rumors about how quickly after saying “I do” Ben and Jessa actually consummated their marriage.
“Multiple people were discussing that when Jinger opened the door to get Jess for the reception, she immediately closed the door with a look of shock on her face,” a woman named Mary B. commented on the blog My Life As A Stay At Home Wife And Mom. “My own daughters saw as well… To hear so many people discussing what they inadvertently walked into was heartbreaking and troubling… I believe Jessa and Ben are in deep lust with each other.”
The comments have been shared by multiple sites, including Radar Online and Gwker. However, the blog is the same one that claimed Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar were mortified when Jessa didn’t kiss during her ceremony… And, as we explained in that story, the Duggar experts at Free Jinger already provided a lot of evidence that My Life As A Stay At Home Wife And Mom is a parody.
Even if it really is a spoof — as I believe it is — My Life As A Stay At Home Wife And Mom does obviously have many readers convinced. It’s possible that Mary B. was actually at the wedding and believed she was among friends when relaying the story on the blog. It’s also possible that she wasn’t at the wedding, but saw how blogger Ashleigh’s story about Ben and Jessa’s first kiss was picked up by the media and decided to one-up it with an even more sensational tale.
In a new post, Ashleigh said she won’t speak to the validity of Mary B.’s comment because “it is not my business what married couples do. Even if it IS in God’s Holy house.” She added, “Sex was made by God for Man and Wife… so what could possibly be more glorifying to Him than to partake in what the Lord has made for you in His house?”
