PHOTOS James May’s actual-size Lego house pictures!
Here are some of the first photos of the actual size Lego house being built by James May for his BBC series “James May’s Toy Stories.” Construction is well under way on the Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, UK. That’s right – “Dorking – could there be a more appropriate home for Shangri-Lego?
Once the two-story house is complete, including a working shower and toilet, Mays plans on living in it for a few days.
Local residents and fans turned out in force to help Jim, each building at least one life-sized brick made up of 272 Lego blocks. More than 3 million Lego blocks were delivered to the site for the project, but some of those “walked off” as helpers were encouraged to take some home.
