Comic-Con 2010 is in full swing in San Diego and images are pouring in for the annual gathering of the strange and fascinating cast of characters that inhabit the word of comic adoration. Some of the incredible highlights that will be taking place today at Comic-Con include:
Megamind:
The first big panel of the day focuses on this animated adventure film in which the bad guy (voice of Will Ferrell) attempts to reclaim his mojo after taking down his super-heroic nemesis (Brad Pitt). Pitt will not be in attendance to promote the movie, which is set for a November release, but Ferrell, Jonah Hill and Tina Fey will. You’ve heard of those folks right?
Tron Legacy:
Tron is making it’s third consecutive appearance at the convention. Key cast members Jeff Bridges, Olivia Wilde, Michael Sheen, Bruce Boxleitner and Tron directors new (Joe Kosinski) and old (Steven Lisberger) will be present. Fans are excited about the possibility of additional footage. Check out our post from last year’s Tron presentations here.
The GPhoria Strikes Back party:
This G4 event will celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back to include recreated scenes from the movie. Nathan Filion, Seth Green, Lance Reddick, and Lost executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, among others are rumored to be attending.
