San Diego Comic-Con is coming up this weekend and earlier today AMC released The Walking Dead Season 5 promotional photo that will be used to market the show during the event.
The photo (above — click to enlarge) features the Terminus ‘Boxcar Crew’ from the Season 4 finale: Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, Chandler Riggs as Carl Grimes, Danai Gurira as Michonne, Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon, Steven Yeun as Glenn Rhee, Lauren Cohan as Maggie Greene and Michael Cudlitz as handlebar mustachioed Sgt. Abraham Ford. Everybody looks dirty, angry, handcuffed and ready to show the Terminusians why they made a big mistake!
The key art joins another photo of just Andrew Lincoln living up to his Grimes surname in a boxcar peekaboo photo (above) from Episode 1, as well as a brief teaser video clip featuring non-boxcar denizens Carol, Tyreese and baby Judith avoiding walkers while (I assume) still in transit to Terminus:
In addition to the non-revealing (albeit wonderfully exhilarating) scene above, AMC also posted a video from the set as the cast and crew celebrated getting back to work:
The Walking Dead Season 5 will premiere in October, 2014.
