Nick Lachey was filling in as a special co-host on Live! with Kelly this morning when he dropped some very special news. He and wife Vanessa Minnillo, who went traditional and decided to take Nick’s name and goes by Vanessa Lachey, are expecting their first baby.
He said that after Vanessa appeared on Live! back in January she, “started to feel a little different, not herself. So she went to the store, got a pregnancy test and it came back positive. So we are having a baby!”
He doesn’t know yet if its going to be a boy or girl but he told Ripa:
“I’ve had a chance to do a lot of great things in my and my life, but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to. The fact that it’s actually here, it’s overwhelming.”
Nick (38) and Vanessa (31) got married back in July, 2011. As recent photos would indicate, Nick’s famous ex Jessica Simpson is about to pop any day now. It’s great to see that the two have moved on in their lives respectively and have found love anew.
