New cast revealed for season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County

RHOC

The girls from The Real Housewives of Orange County are back for a new season with new faces. Though Bravo hasn’t officially confirmed the season 10 cast, sources close to the OC camp shared the news with Us Weekly.

So who are the new gals to join in the chaos?

The first is Meghan Edmonds the third wife of former MLB player and current Fox Sports announcer Jim Edmonds. Fans of the show are familiar with the Edmonds as they’ve made appearances in past seasons most notably at the Dubrow home for dinner and at the groundbreaking party for their new house.

The Dubrows Party

Meghan and Jim are newlyweds who tied the knot in October of 2014. Interestingly enough, Jim and his second wife divorced in January of 2014 just 10 months before he and Meghan married. Hmmm… I’m sure there’s a story there. Though Meghan and Jim don’t have children together, Jim has four children from his previous marriages.

Edmonds Family

The second fresh face joining the cast is another MLB wife Katie Hamilton. Katie is married to Josh Hamilton who is currently an outfielder for the Los Angeles Angels. Katie is another beautiful, OC blonde and busy mom who makes her faith a number 1 priority. She has one daughter from a previous relationship, and together she and Josh have three daughters. I have a sneaking suspicion that Katie and Shannon may bond over having all girls.

The Hamiltons

It’s no secret that Katie’s husband struggled with drug addition in the past. Josh has overcome those obstacles and regained his sobriety with the help of Michael Chadwick– Katie’s dad. Though Katie and Josh have had their challenges over the years and even spent some time apart when Josh relapsed, the couple is a strong unit who remain committed to each other and their family.

The Hamilton Girls

It’s obvious the new cast members are ramping up for the storm that will come when the new season premieres. Katie Hamilton recently re-joined Twitter after being away for three years, and Jim Edmonds decided to change his Twitter from private to public. Good PR move, newbies.

Also new for season 10 is a blast from the past known for stirring the pot. Jeana Keogh, who was an original cast member of the series when it debuted back in 2006, has been asked back to be an official “Friend of the Housewives”. Though Jeana has shown up here and there over the last few years, it looks like she will be playing a much larger role this season.

OC OGs

In addition to the new cast members, all the housewives from last season are slated to be back including Vicki, Tamra, Heather, Shannon, and Lizzie.

What do you think of the new cast?
