MY GIANT LIFE Lindsay Hayward gives birth to son Liam Maddox. How long is he?
The world’s tallest actress is now the world’s tallest actress mom! My Giant Life star Lindsay Hayward gave birth to her son, Liam Maddox Haywayrd, on September 12.
The six-foot, eight-inch mom shared the news on Instagram and Twitter with the photo above and this joyful caption, which reveals that Liam measured 21-and-a-half inches at birth:
Liam Maddox Hayward born September 12th, 2017 at 15:27 PST. 11.7lbs in weight, 21.5″ in length, 15.5″ circumference of head. He peed 4 times before actually getting measured, lol. My treasure, my miracle. My chunky monkey. My flesh. My son. Thank you, mama, for being here for me, for us. Grateful for a nana and mom like you. Thank you @thatbulgariankid for holding down the fort and being apart of this incredible journey. Thank you, friends and family, for the continued encouragement, inspiration and support you’ve given to me. Will share more when I can!???
Lindsay followed through on her promise to share more with a beautiful video holding her son. Here is a still image from the clip:
Unfortunately, in the caption, Lindsay revealed that Liam is having some health issues:
My son might resemble a little sumo wrestler, but he’s got some fluid in his lungs we’re patiently waiting for him to clear, which is common with #cesareanbirth. I finally was able to do #skintoskin with baby Liam late last night and am in love with his little face, thunder thighs, toes, sock hands and soft skin.????? I can’t wait until he’s healthy enough to come home with his mommy and nana, but that’s why he’s down here with the lovely nurses and doctors of #NICU. What an adventure!
A huge thank you for all of the positive support and words of encouragement from fans, family and friends, we are so lucky to be blessed with such amazing people in our lives. Baby Liam has that new baby smell hehe I just love him like I’ve never loved anything before and I still can’t get over the fact that this little miracle came from my womb. Can’t wait to see him in a couple of hours and kiss him good morning.
Meanwhile, I’m trying to get this breast milk production thing under control. I’ve lost a lot of blood these past couple of days, nearly needing a blood transfusion, so my milk production is a bit slow. Taking a lot of patience and frequent pumping to stimulate, but I am producing colostrum, which I hear is liquid gold for a newbie. I gotta feed this little guy!
We are doing alright over here- just keep sending our tiny family love, positive vibes and prayers! Thank you for considering us in your thoughts and hopefully this update finds you all well!??????????????☺️ #blessed #positivevibesonly #thankyou #newborn #mygiantlife #mygiantbaby #chunkymonkey #loveofmylife
In addition to the arrival of her son, Lindsay will also be dealing with the arrival of a new season of her show this week! My Giant Life Season 3 premieres Sunday, September 17 at 10/9c on TLC Congratulations to Lindsay — on everything!
