Miley Cyrus is in Germany to promote her new album, but fell ill with a case of food poisoning before making any appearances.
Although she was didn’t want to pull a Harry Styles by puking during shows, Miley did go through with her scheduled interviews. During one chat with PromiFlash, the ailing singer even managed to crack a joke about how she next plans to overhaul her look.
“I was thinking about maybe getting ‘Chris Brown’ across this cheek,” she said, pointing to the left side of her face. “It would be really good for my career.”
Miley’s sense of humor is extra impressive, considering the food poisoning is taking such a toll on her private morale… She accidentally tweeted (and then deleted) a text conversation where she complained of being miserable and crying herself to sleep.
It’s unclear when Miley’s food poisoning set in and whether the texts were in reference to that. Even if it wasn’t, Miley’s been dealing with a lot of personal stresses lately. From her parents’ on-again, off-again divorce filings to her own relationship problems with Liam Hemsworth, Miley’s anxiety is understandable.
Let’s just hope that she finds the time to recuperate — both emotionally and physically.
