Tensions are high when it comes to cheating scandals on Married to Medicine, Quad Webb-Lunceford is currently going through an acrimonious divorce from her husband of six years Dr. Gregory Lunceford because of cheating allegations. During a huge fight with Dr. Heavenly Kimes in the last few episodes, Mariah Huq claimed she actually had receipts proving that Heavenly’s husband Dr. Damon Kimes has cheated on her. Damon denies these allegations, but Mariah is hinting that she has these “receipts” hidden somewhere “under lock and key.” Is this real or BS?
The comment about receipts seemed to just come up in the heat of the moment as a low blow, and Dr. Simone Whitmore theory is that Mariah decided to go there with Heavenly because she was tired of Heavenly talking about her mother so decided to do whatever she could to hurt her back. She feels like Heavenly’s husband Damon is “collateral damage” in the situation, but still thinks that Mariah may have some kind of receipts on him. What exactly those receipts may be, however, is another matter.
“Unfortunately, I think that if Mariah is saying she has receipts, she probably does have something. It’s the unfortunate thing,” Dr. Simon told The Daily Dish. “Hopefully, we [do not] have to see, deal with receipts, invoices, or anything like that. But I don’t think she would’ve just pulled it out of thin air.”
Mariah told Andy Conhen on Watch What Happens Live that she doesn’t want to break up Heavenly’s family, so she’s keeping these receipts to herself. “They are available under lock and key,” she told Andy just last week. She explained that she felt like exposing the receipts would compromise her integrity and she didn’t want any more divorces in their group. But, she defended her choice to go there with Heavenly, saying that it was necessary to give Heavenly a “dose of her medicine,” so she could understand the pain her own words could cause.
