Jennifer Lawrence is shooting The Hunger Games in Atlanta, so she couldn’t make it to an NYC press conference for The Silver Linings Playbook. Her co-star and romantic interest Bradley Cooper was there looking gorgeous. He makes a girl want to wear oversized sweaters and sip hot chocolate by the fire. He was named People’s sexiest man alive last year, and these photos have me believing he still is.
Cooper has said that starring in Silver Linings as a troubled man who’s lost everything (his job, house, and wife) has been “the best experience,” because he’s really had to dive into the character and be realistic.
He said he was focused on “making it very real and at the same time dynamic. For an actor, that’s heaven. The faith he [director David O. Russell] had in me gave me over to his process.” Cooper’s character Pat Solitano has to move in with his parents, and his dad, played by Robert DeNiro has a serious case of OCD. Pat is obsessed with getting his wife back, but begins a complicated relationship with Jennifer Lawrence’s character, a young widow. Bradley’s signed on to work with Lawrence again in Serena, a Depression-era movie.
The Silver Linings Playbook opens November 16, the same day as Breaking Dawn: Part II, but hopefully it will hold it’s own. I’ll definitely be queuing up for this.
