Leonardo DiCaprio’s brother Adam Farrar has been missing for weeks
Although he hasn’t spoken about it, Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly been distracted while on his Wolf Of Wall Street publicity tour. According to The Sun, Leo’s stepbrother, Adam Farrar, has been missing for a month.
“Adam was in jail and now I don’t know where he is,” one of Adam’s friends said. “I’ve tried calling him but his number is disconnected. I spoke to his dad a couple of days ago and still no one has heard from him. He’s gone off the rails in the past few years. He doesn’t have a permanent home and he flits from friends’ houses and Lord knows where.”
Leo and Adam are technically stepbrothers — but have behaved more like actual siblings ever since Leo’s dad married Adam’s mom when the future Titanic star was one. Adam even trailblazed Leo’s move into the entertainment business: Adam began acting in commercials as a kid and was named one of TNT’s “30 Under 30” in 1999.

Unfortunately, Adam has been in and out of legal trouble ever since his March 2000 arrest for attempted murder and terroristic threats. Although that case was later dropped, Adam has been charged with harassment, possession of a controlled substance, driving without a license and domestic violence throughout the past three years. It’s unclear which charges led to convictions, but Adam was apparently in jail until early November. He went missing a short time later.
“He was here at my house for about two or three days, then he just disappeared,” said the friend. “I’ve tried calling him but his number is disconnected. I spoke to his dad a couple of days ago and still no one has heard from him.”
Despite all of Adam’s legal troubles, Leo has reportedly stood by his brother — and is now eager to find him.
