I would like to thank the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards for making me realize I have an umbrella fetish. There’s just something so aesthetically pleasing about a woman’s shape under the slightly tilted inverted scalloped cup of an umbrella that goes together like Oreos and milk. A perfect example of that was the arrival of the always lovely Penelope Cruz!
The 35-year-old Spanish-born actress packed herself into a tight black-on-black striped gown with just a touch of laciness along the chest and shoulders – about the most lace I’ve seen all night! The dress flares out at the bottom, which just makes the unbrella that much more of a perfect accessory.

These pictures are great, but there’s something about Penelope – the dress and the umbrella – that just begs to be seen in motion. Something tells me that was an almost unbearably attractive walk!
