Following brawl reports, Sarah Palin defends Bristol Palin, blames ‘liberal media’
Earlier this month, several members of the Palin family allegedly got into a brawl at an Anchorage house party. Among other things, the incident reportedly involved Bristol Palin punching a man in the face six times, Track Palin fighting with one of Willow Palin’s ex-boyfriends and matriarch Sarah Palin yelling “Do you know who I am?” The Anchorage Police Department confirmed there was a “verbal and physical altercation” at the Sept. 6 party.
After the news broke, Sarah was pictured out in Anchorage without her wedding ring — prompting reports that she and Todd Palin are divorcing. Bristol then wrote an article dismissing the story from “some random reporter.”
Sarah spoke out (albeit in loose terms) about the alleged incident and subsequent divorce reports for the first time this weekend.
“I love my Bristol! My straight-shooter is one of the strongest young women you’ll ever meet,” the former vice-president candidate said in a Facebook post, which included the following picture of Bristol being a literal straight-shooter. “I have to say this as a proud mama: right up there with their work ethic and heart for those less fortunate, my kids’ defense of family makes my heart soar!”
After defending her kids, Sarah pointed out who/what people should spent their attention blaming: “As you can imagine, they and my extended family have experienced so many things (liberal media-driven) that may have crushed others without a strong foundation of faith.”
