New shirtless David Beckham photos from H&M underwear campaign
David Beckham became famous for being an amazing soccer player, but he announced his retirement from the sport back in May so he could pursue a career in what he does even better: looking damn fine in underwear. Photos from Beckham’s Fall 2013 H&M bodywear campaign hit the internet earlier today, much to the enjoyment of straight women and gay men all over the planet, but much to the frustration of previously devout heterosexual men and lesbians who are now second guessing their sexuality.
The pictures feature David in a locker room setting modeling raglan-sleeve knits, sweat pants, tank tops, and of course underwear. (More like “thunderwear” when Beckham wears ’em!) Ads featuring the images, shot by photographer Josh Olins, will show up today in print, online, and in window displays in the more than 2,800 H&M stores in 49 countries. (And on blogs.)
I’ll let David introduce the photos as he did on his Facebook page, and I’ll even toss in a quote or two from David on the H&M line (because those silly Starcasm editors think all articles need words. P’shaw!) as well as a behind-the-scenes video clip…
“Shots from my new h+m campaign…hope you like them.” – David Beckham
“I love the heritage athletic style of the new pieces in my Bodywear collection at H&M.”
Behind-the-scenes video from David Beckham’s H&M Fall 2013 ad campaign photo shoot:
“The vests, pajama pants and raglan sleeve tops are already like wardrobe favorites for me that I know I’ll wear all season long.”
“It was great to shoot them in an old-fashioned East End changing room. It was like I had gone right back to my roots.”
