Drew Peterson charged in murder-for-hire plot to kill prosecuting attorney

Normally being in prison is a pretty good deterrent for committing further crimes, but former policeman Drew Peterson, who is currently serving a 38-year sentence for murdering his third wife, wasn't going to let a silly thing like steel bars prevent him from seeking revenge on the prosecuting attorney who put him away. According to a press release by Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan, the 61-year-old Peterson allegedly "solicited an individual to carry out a murder-for-hire plot against Will County State’s Attorney James Glasgow."
