Springsteen chills with Taylor Swift, to tour in 2012 behind new album

Last night Taylor Swift dominated the AMA Awards taking home the big cheese of Artist of the Year among many other trophies but that pales to getting to hang with none other that Bruce Springsteen backstage! Yes, Taylor lived out my fantasy as the Boss serenaded her with “Dancing in the Dark” and then signed the guitar he played and gave it to her. And in even bigger Boss news Springsteen reveals that he and the mighty E Street Band will be touring while backing up a new album.

Springsteen surprises at Clarence Clemons tribute concert

It’s still hard to believe that Clarence Clemons is gone. As for the Big Man’s sidekick Scooter he got back to doing what comes naturally as Bruce Springsteen dropped into Asbury Park’s Wonder Bar for a surprise 45-minute set. Numerous news outlets are reporting that founding E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons died earlier today from complications from a stroke. Clarence suffered the stroke on June 12th and was reportedly making a “miraculous” recovery prior to the sad news being announced today. The Big Man was 69.

Clarence Clemons suffers a stroke in Florida, reportedly making “miraculous” recovery

E Street Band saxophone player Clarence Clemons, 69, has reportedly suffered from a stroke and is “seriously ill” according to Showbiz411.com. No more details are available at this time.
