If anything has become patently clear after two seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey it would be not to mess with a Jersey girl!
Recently departed cast member Danielle Staub is currently embroiled in a court case with her ex-husband Kevin Maher. Staub’s ex is suing Danielle for defamation involving a number of disparaging and character-assasinating accusations she has publicly accused him of including rape, murdering her dog, forced prostitution and participation in a sordid game of Russian roulette.
In an attempt to show that Staub has continued to make damning allegations against their client, Maher’s lawyers dialed up the number of fellow RHNJ cast member and all around Staub hater, Caroline Manzo! That type of quick thinkin’ is why those suits make all the big bucks folks. Well Manzo did show up in court and laid down testimony that would certainly back Maher’s defamation claims.
Here are just a few of the comments made by Manzo under oath as obtained by RadarOnline:
“She told a story about being raped on broken glass. One incident, she said that he shot her dog. And then another incident she claimed that he hanged her dog. I’m confused as to whether this all was at the same moment of the rape on the glass with the dog, and inserted a pistol up her vagina and played like a Russian roulette.”
Manzo added:
“She claimed to have been hiding in a tree at some point, afraid that when he came home he would find her and beat her. She claimed to be the victim of prostitution due to his demands, that he put her into that world, again depicting him as an absolute monster. And the only reason she stayed with him, because she feared for her life if she left.”
I bet you could find those statements beside the term defamation in a law school textbook, if they’re false of course. Staub’s camp is currently in the process of trying to have the case dismissed. This motion will be heard on September 27th.
Note to self, do not marry Danielle Staub or wrong a Manzo.
