Brandi Glanville announces new E! reality show and cast, teases premiere date

Brandi Glanville new show 2

Brandi Glanville is back! The Brandi Glanville new show rumors were recently confirmed by none other than Brandi herself, when she announced the title and cast of her forthcoming E! reality series. Entitled Famously Single, the show looks to explore the lives & romantic entanglements of eight LA-based cohorts, with Brandi chief among them. Per Hollywood Reporter,

The unscripted project centers on eight lovelorn celebrities who move into a loft in downtown Los Angeles together to get to the root of their romantic problems. By revealing the truth behind their public breakups and bad relationships, and with the help of a team of experts, the participants attempt to identify and solve their relationship issues once and for all. Through a series of group exercises, one-on-one sessions and real dates, viewers will get an intimate look at the stars’ emotional journeys as they challenge each other and learn how to find love.

The star celebrated official confirmation of the Brandi Glanville new show with an Instagram update featuring the entire cast:

It’s a veritable cavalcade of former and current reality TV stars. Pauly D has been featured on Jersey Shore; Josh Murray is best-known for his time on The Bachelorette; Somaya Reece made her name on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood; and Calum Best featured in a series of British projects. In addition to those Famously Single cast members, Willis McGahee is a former NFL star, and Aubrey O’Day was formerly the lead singer of Danity Kane.

In addition, devoteés will recall that Pauly D and Aubrey O’Day have been together for weeks, and confirmed their relationship last month. Aubrey noted that “chemistry happened within the house with a few of the cast-mates,” she and Pauly included, so it seems highly likely that viewers will see old couples break up and new ones come together somewhat on the regular.

The Hollywood Reporter article goes on to state that E! ordered eight episodes of the show, which we further know started shooting for a pilot last autumn. Brandi has yet to announce the official premiere date…

…but noted fan site Team Brandi Glanville claims that May 2016–or shortly after The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills sixth season finale–is a definite possibility.
