VIDEO Ashley Greene inconsolable after losing her dog in tragic house fire (updated)
Ashley Greene’s West Hollywood condo went up in flames this morning and unfortunately, one of her beloved dogs didn’t make it out alive. Ashley and her friends were hanging out until earlier this morning and sometime after they fell asleep, a fire was started in the home. They rushed out of the home as soon as they discovered the fire without the dogs and when they went back to get them, one of the had passed away.
According to TMZ, fire ripped through the home after being started on the living room sofa and took at least 10 firetrucks to put out. Ashley was in the home with her brother, her assistant, and her two dogs Theo and Marlo. One resident of the building claims that the two males were seen going in and out of the building quite a lot throughout the morning and a second resident claims they heard glass exploding.

While it is being reported that one dog was saved, the other did not make it. Judging by her twitter account, both of Ashley’s dogs, Marlo and Theo, are both fox terriers and look extremely similar. One resident wasn’t even aware that there was a second dog. The deceased dog was found under the bed.
The dog has been removed from the wreckage and given to Ashley who insisted on keeping the dog. One of the firefighters wrapped it in a sheet and gave it to Ashley or one of the other two men.
Ashley’s rep spoke with PEOPLE a short while ago, confirming the blaze, and stating that “the cause is undetermined.”
UPDATE: The men in Ashley’s home with her were her brother and her boyfriend, not her assistant. TMZ is now reporting that Ashley’s condo has been completely destroyed.
They also were able to capture a video of the inconsolable Ashley who recently returned to the residency where she was seen craddling her deceased dog who is wrapped in a white sheet. That video is below:
UPDATE (2): That fire was reportedly caused by a candle.
