VIDEO Cousin Jerod Brown releases Bobbi Kristina tribute song “Pray for BK”
Bobbi Kristina Brown continues to fight for her life in a Georgia hospital more than six weeks after she was found unconscious in a tub in her Atlanta home. Her cousin Jerod Brown, who performs under the name YF Kennedy, has just released a music video tribute to Bobbi Kristina titled “Pray for BK.”
Here’s the video:
Jerod has been called out by some of the Brown family as an attention-seeking “side show,” but he insists his music tribute is a selfless endeavor. “No matter what, we’re all human beings, and if we’re part of this the main thing we should be doing is uplifting everyone,” Jerod told Revolt. “When she does wake up, she’ll see we played our part and that’s our reward.”
Jerod has defended himself on Instagram as well. This post came before the song was actually released, but after Jerod had announced he was working on it:
And another recent message from Jerod on Twitter:
I know Krissi is proud of me! Get well baby girl #FamilyFirst #PrayForBK
