The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple Joe and Teresa Giudice were each sentenced to months in prison for multiple fraud charges last month, but their eldest daughter Gia Giudice isn’t letting that stand in the way of her pursuit of musical stardom. The 13-year-old’s musical trio 3KT (3 Karat) made headlines a few weeks ago when their risque music video for their cover of Britney Spears’ “Circus” hit the internet, a video that mom Teresa Giudice reportedly paid $10,000 for.

But Teresa potentially won’t have to go out of pocket for the group’s latest venture as 3KT has launched a $7,500 Kickstarter fundraising campaign to finance a new Christmas themed music video for their song “Season of Joy.”

“3KT loves our fans!” the campaign entry reads. “We want to give you an awesome original Christmas music video in time for the holiday! Join us! <3 Gia Lex Lil Cee." Here is the full description:

WE LOVE OUR FANS! We are still so overwhelmed by the buzz and support over our first music video cover “Circus” (originally by Britney Spears WHO WE ADORE!). So many of you had amazing words of support for us on our new journey. We were born to perform and entertain, and we are so lucky to be able to do this in such a big way. We want to empower and inspire other young performers to FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS AND NEVER GIVE UP!

“Obviously any news that is hurtful or horrible to hear is so upsetting,” Gia admits. But she is confident they’ll be fine in the end. “My family is probably one of the strongest families I know, so we’ll get through this. It’s going to be fine. And when it’s over, we’re going to be better than ever. So, it’s going to be OK.”

And here are some of the incentives you will receive at the various donation amounts. (Note: For any donated amount above $25 you will also receive all of the incentives for the lower amounts.)

$10 – 3KT will follow you on instagram

$25 – Free download of the new Christmas song

$50 – 3KT Tshirt

$100 – Signed 3KT T-shirt and an official 3KT beanie or snapback

$250 – Special Thanks credit in the music video and an exclusive sneak-peek teaser of the Christmas music video (“Perez Hilton will be SO JELLY!”)

$500 – Invitation to set for the day on one of 3KT’s music videos (subject to scheduling, transportation/lodging not included, maximum of +1 for ages under 18) and Producer Credit on the music video

$1,000 – Walk-on role in one of 3KT’s music videos (subject to scheduling, transportation/lodging not included, maximum of +1 for ages under 18)

At the time of this post the campaign had raised $541 of their $7,500 goal.

Meanwhile, Gia and her 3KT bandmates made an appearance on Access Hollywood in which Gia talked about their controversial “Circus” video as well as her mother’s arrest and how it will impact the Giuidice family.

“We obviously got our parents’ approval,” Gia says of the “Circus” video. “My parents think it’s fun. My mom was there every step of the way. And when my dad saw it, he was like, ‘Nice, Gia. Nice.’” Gia laughs and adds that her dad’s reaction was “typical, laid back.”

“So, it’s good,” she says. “I just want to make them proud. That’s all that matters.”

As far as her mom and dad’s convictions and pending prison sentences (Teresa will serve 15 months and then her dad will serve 41 months) as well as the tidal wave of negative media coverage, Gia says her family will be fine. “Obviously any news that is hurtful or horrible to hear is so upsetting,” she concedes. However, she is confident in the strength of the Giudices. “My family is probably one of the strongest families I know, so we’ll get through this. It’s going to be fine. And when it’s over, we’re going to be better than ever. So, it’s going to be OK.”
