Is Ronan Farrow the son of Frank Sinatra, not Woody Allen? Mother Mia Farrow says it’s possible

Whose son is Ronan Farrow Frank Sinatra or Woody Allen

Officially, Ronan Farrow is the only biological child between Woody Allen and Mia Farrow. However, his mother recently told Vanity Fair that Ronan is “possibly” the son of Frank Sinatra, her first husband.

Speaking with special correspondent Maureen Orth, the legendary actress said she “never really split up” with Frank, whom she married when she was 21 and divorced two years later. She went on to marry André Previn from 1970 until 1979. She then had a lengthy relationship with Woody Allen from 1980 until 1992, when she discovered Woody was having a sexual relationship with a daughter she adopted while with André. Mia also accused Woody of molesting her young daughter, Dylan.

Although Ronan was born in the midst of Mia and Woody’s relationship and no DNA tests have ever been conducted, there is good reason to believe he is actually the biological son of Frank. Just look at his ol’ blue eyes!

(Speaking of blue eyes, Mia and Frank shared similarly bright blue peepers. Woody has dark brown eyes. It’s unknown what color eyes Woody’s parents had, but it would be genetically unlikely for Ronan to inherit bright blue eyes if Woody doesn’t carry a recessive gene for blue eyes… Alternatively, it’s nearly guaranteed that a baby between Mia and Frank would have bright blue eyes.)

“Ronan looks a lot like Frank Sinatra,” Maureen told Matt Lauer on Today of the 25-year-old Rhodes Scholar. “He sings a lot like Frank Sinatra.”

Ronan hasn’t publicly commented on his paternity, but told Maureen that Nancy Sinatra Sr. fusses over him like an Italian grandmother. Nancy Sinatra Jr. also told Maureen via email that they are all very happy to have Ronan as part of their family.

Either way, Ronan hails from an influential family. However, the Yale graduate never relied on those connections to earn him positions in the State Department. He was also named one of Forbes Magazines “30 Under 30” Most Influential People for two years in a row.

UPDATE Ronan tweeted a pretty direct/indirect statement about his paternity.
