Actress Scarlett Johansson is officially engaged to French journalist Romain Dauriac, a rep confirmed to Us Weekly. “I can confirm that Scarlett and Romain are engaged. They haven’t chosen a date for the wedding.”
The pair have been dating for approximately 10 months. Their first public outing together was in November.
This will be the 2nd marriage for the 28-year-old Under the Skin actress. Johansson was wed to actor Ryan Reynolds from 2008-2010.
In January, Scarlett downplayed the importance of getting hitched to Elle UK,
“I never think about marriage. Is that weird? The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me, ‘Would I get married again?’ It’s really not important to me. It has no relevance to me right now. I’m in a nice relationship, I’m working a lot and, like I said, marriage is not important to me…To me, being in a functioning relationship doesn’t mean you have to be married.”
You don’t have to be but it looks like Scarlett will be, to which we say congrats!
