Total Film unearthed a deleted scene of Ryan Gosling from The Place Beyond The Pines that leaves us screaming about why this part wasn’t left in. Seriously!
TPBYTP is directed by Derek Cianfrance, who also directed Ryan in Blue Valentine. In the film Ryan is a bleach blonde heavily tattooed traveling stunt bike racer who turns to a life of crime after he finds out he has a kid.
In this never before seen clip, Ryan’s character Luke Glanton is gettin’ booked, so we get to see him strip down. Now I know this movie wasn’t supposed to be Magic Mike, it was supposed to be about the art, but still. Ryan Gosling in his underwear is a work of art all its own. The stripping happens at the 2:30 mark.
