TMZ is reporting that NFL vet Junior Seau is dead.
Cops were on the scene at his Oceanside, California home investigating a possible shooting. TMZ spoke with the coroner’s office who confirmed they received a call to respond to the scene.
Back in 2010 Seau drove his vehicle off of a cliff following an arrest for allegedly attacking his girlfriend. He insisted at the time that he was not trying to hurt himself but that he had fallen asleep at the wheel.
TMZ is also reporting that authorities believe it to be a suicide from a self-inflicted gun shot wound to the chest. Seau was 43. A news conference is expected to be given by authorities momentarily…
