Meet Kacie Boguskie, one of twenty-five eligible bachelorettes competing for the heart of hunky wine maker Ben Flajnik on Season 16 of The Bachelor set to premiere January 2, 2012 on ABC.
Kacie is a 24-year-old administrative assistant at Genera Energy in Knoxville, Tennessee who grew up down the road in Clarksville. While in Clarksville, Kacie attended Rossview High School where she was elected Miss RHS in 2004. She went to college at the University of Tennessee where she was a member of The University of Tennessee Majorettes as a baton twirler. (You can see a video clip from 2007 HERE in which I assume Kacie is one of the twirlin’ gals.)

Hubba Hubba! Is anybody else getting an Ashley Hebert vibe here? Just swap out dancing for baton twirling and I think we may have a match – and that certainly bodes well for Kacie’s chances because Ben sure seemed fond of Ashley!
Pro: Very familiar with handling stiff rods
Con: During the process of writing this post I’ve developed a bit of a crush on Kacie, so I don’t have much for the ol’ “con” section. Maybe that “Boguskie” is kind of goofy? (Though not much worse than Flajnik really)
Heterosexual dude notes: Me (in an alternate reality): “Gee Kacie, this is a really nice place you have here.” Kacie: “Thanks!” Me: “Is this you in this photo twirling baton?” Kacie: “Yeah that’s me. You know, I’ve still got that costume here somewhere. You want me to see if it still fits?” Me: ***swoon*** (It’s generic I know, but this is “heterosexual dude” remember.)

It’s so hard to choose just one. I’ve read so many. To date, I’ll say “Time Traveler’s Wife,” it kept me on my toes, a real page turner.
If you wanted to really impress a man what would you do and why?
I would make a dinner and give them something sentimental – like a basket full of things that are “us.” I feel like thought shows how much you care.
What is your ideal mates personality like?
Outgoing, fun-loving, athletic, driven, goal oriented, sensitive but strong, not afraid to try new things, Christian, family oriented, love children
