Amanda Bynes was arrested yesterday after law enforcement officers determined she was driving under the influence.
A CHP officer noticed Bynes’ Mercedes stopped in the middle of an intersection on Van Nuys Blvd in the San Fernando Valley. The 28-year-old was then taken to the LAPD Van Nuys Division and was determined to be under the influence of a drug after an evaluation by a drug recognition officer.
Amanda, who was said to have had a “disheveled” appearance, was booked for DUI and shortly thereafter posted a $15,000 bail.
The former Nickelodeon and WB star had a very public series of meltdowns before she was eventually placed under the legal watch of her parents. This conservatorship ended earlier this month and sources with TMZ say that Bynes has started slipping again.
She’s said to have moved out of her parents’ home and is living in an apartment in Orange County where sources say she’s been smoking marijuana for weeks.
This DUI could have additional legal repercussions for Bynes as she’s on probation from a 2012 incident in which she hit a police patrol car.
Hopefully she will not be seeking a Presidential pardon this time around…
