Alexia Echevarria suing over son’s near-fatal car crash
Real Housewives of Miami cast member Alexia Echevarria is taking her insurance company to court following a horrific car accident involving her youngest son Frankie.
She filed the lawsuit in Florida against Garcia Lorenzo & Associates, claiming that they did not execute her policy correctly after bills mounted.
Frankie Rosello was 13-years-old at the time of the crash that left him in critical condition. He suffered from a head injury and multiple broken bones including a crushed pelvis. Alexia posted a video updating Frankie’s progress stating that he had regained his ability to walk and was working with specialists on his speech.
On January 4th she posted the following to her Bravo blog:
I rejoice in the miracle of Frankie’s recovery and progress and thank God for this every minute of my day.
According to TMZ, the suit is for $2 million as she claims that when she signed the policy in 2008, she requested a special coverage that would have assisted in the costs of Frankie’s accident. She is arguing that the company was careless in leaving it out.
