7th Heaven star Sarah Goldberg dies at 40
Sarah Goldberg, who sometimes went by the stage name Sarah Danielle Madison, has passed away at the age of 40, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The Chicago native died peacefully in her sleep at her family’s cabin in Wisconsin on September 27. Her mother Judy Goldberg said, “She went to sleep and didn’t wake up.” An autopsy failed to determine a cause of death but her mother said a heart ailment was suspected.
Goldberg got her big break in 2002 with a spot on the TV series Judging Amy but she was best known for her role as Sarah Glass Camden in 7th Heaven from 2002-2006.
Actor Barry Watson, who portrayed Goldberg’s love interest Matt Camden, tweeted:
#RIP Sarah. I will miss you always. Love Ya! B.

Goldberg’s mom said, “She would walk down the street here, or places in Wisconsin, and people would come up to her and say, ‘You played the daughter’ of the rabbi. She wanted to go to medical school, and instead for three years she played a doctor on 7th Heaven.”
Goldberg also appeared in the films Jurassic Park III and Training Day. Her most recent role was on The CW’s 90210.
