2012 Emmy Awards Red Carpet Fashion PHOTOS!

The 2012 63rd Emmy Awards took place Sunday (September 23) night at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday in Los Angeles.

Nicole Kidman’s 2012 Emmy Awards dress is To Die For! It’s a white Antonio Berardi gown with sparkling blue details and Fred Leighton jewels. Love the matchy pop of color at the bottom:

Here’s a pregnant Claire Danes, who took home the Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama Series (her Showtime series Homeland swept the night.) She’s gorgeous in a bright yellow draped silk strapless Lanvin from the Ete 2013 Pre-Collection. Angela Chase is so grown up! Yellow was the color of the evening, we’ll follow up with more yellow later:

Not only was yellow a popular choice tonight, it was a winner’s color. Julianne Moore picked up an Emmy for her portrayal of Sarah Palin in HBO’s Game Change in long-sleeved yellow Dior Couture:

I knew there was a reason Hayden Panettiere’s gown was extra beautiful, it’s a Marchesa! Gorgeous dark gauzy turquoise drapes a sheer sheath embellished with gold detail. Swoon! Hayden’s set to star in ABC’s Nashville, premiering October 10.

Girls star and creator Lena Dunham has a new short hair-cut, some seriously smokey eyes, and a Prada dress that kind of swallows her up:

The Good Wife’s Julianna Margulies’s green brocade Giambattista Valli kind of looks like a carpet. Hate to go fashion police here, but it’s really more a tapestry than a dress:

Lucy Liu has a new show about to premiere on CBS September 27 called Elementary. She arrived at the 2012 Emmy Awards in an interesting silver structured Atelier Versace gown, accented with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, and Guiseppe Zanotti shoes and a clutch. It looks like she has tiny CDs all over her body. Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing:
