Tila Tequila after CBB eviction for praising Hitler: ‘I humbly ask for forgiveness’

Tila Tequila Big Brother UK

Tila Tequila’s British vacation will be short-lived: Just hours into her start at the Celebrity Big Brother UK house, producers decided to remove the former Shot At Love star because of her past comments sympathizing with Hitler.

According to The Daily Mail, producers claimed they were unaware of Tila’s comments before she joined the show–but were quickly alerted to her history by viewers who called for Tila’s removal from the house. The controversy stems from a couple of social media updates from Tila in late 2013, in which she praised the leader of the Nazi party:

He was not a bad person as they have painted him out to be. Not even close!!! I cry because my heart feels… broken. Here is a man who was not a coward, stood up for his country in a DESPERATE TIME OF NEED (unlike all of our cowardly leaders), and yet not only did he try his best to help his country and people get out of what was a time of depression, economic collapse, high unemployment, amongst many other things… he lost the war AND was painted out to be a monster after his death… They cheated and played Hitler so bad… I feel extremely compassionate and sympathy for the man with a ruined legacy as well as a forever condemned great people of Germany!

She also posted a Photoshopped image of her standing outside Auschwitz while wearing a swastika. Tila went on to refer to herself as “HiTila.”

The posts have since been deleted.

Upon learning more about Tila’s past statements, TMZ reported that producers removed her from the show “immediately” and will not pay her for the short appearance.

UPDATE – Tila Tequila has since issued a statement about her premature eviction:

Back in 2013 I made a statement about Hitler not being a bad person, and immediately realized soon after that I had made a terrible mistake that would ultimately come back to haunt me. During that time I had been suffering from severe depression, and drug addiction for many years prior to that. I also attempted to commit suicide in 2012, and overdosed on prescription pills. I wanted to die. I felt worthless, and unloved as that pain continued to grow causing me to further spiral out of control. Losing touch of myself, and reality. It was absolutely the lowest point I had ever reached in my life, and today I am truly sorry to everyone that I may have hurt along my self-destructive path.

I have made many mistakes that I am definitely not proud about, but I am only a flawed human who is trying my best to be a better person than I was in the past. I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible, reckless, and selfish actions and I hope that everyone can forgive me for the pain that I may have caused.

I want to be a good role model for my daughter because I don’t want her to go through what I have had to endure. I hope that I will be given a second chance at life to make things right again. We all make mistakes in life, and I have unfortunately made many in the public eye.

Although I cannot do much to change my past mistakes now, I can however, try to make things right from this moment forward, and be the best person that I can be. I am in no way, shape or form a racist nor antisemitic, and absolutely 100% not a Nazi supporter. It was a careless mistake I made in 2013 while suffering severe depression, drug addiction, and [being] suicidal. That is not the woman I have grown up to be today, and the loving mother that I have become.

I humbly ask for forgiveness from everyone I may have hurt or offended. I just want a second chance at life to start over, and be given a chance to fix my wrongs. It will be a work in progress, but I want to do this so that my daughter will be proud of me one day, and have a positive, strong role model in her life and that starts with me.

I hope that Celebrity Big Brother will give me a second chance.

Do you think Tila deserves another Shot At… Big Brother?

    Lmao that was fast.

  • Geniya

In future news Tila Tequila joins KKK

    • Alisson Leech

Exactly. Nazis would have killed her!

  • Saige

I used to like her because she removed herself from mainstream and came out about the mind controlled controlled media. It appears she has fallen back into it.

    • UncommonStats™

Hitler was not a good man.. BUT history has been painted unfairly. Many germans died during the war in these camps. There is so much corruption behind the official story.

      • Saige

There’s corruption in this entire world. The New world order is a real thing.

      • Geniya

i am jew from eastern Europe, my grandparents were alive during WWII they had to run to kazakstan with their moms for escape from the germans both of their dads died when Germany invaded soviet union. That was my mothers side. My father’s grandpa did not get killed by the germans. After the war Soviet army occupied Germany and their rules were to not have any contact with any germans or the soviet soldiers would be sent back to the soviet union .they were not even killing them. so stop with this nazi empathy. Many german soldiers ran away to various countries to avoid joining the nazi army. SO a personal F*ck you More Soviet army men died than the jewish people.

      • Anna

What are you talking about? Nobody denies Germans died in concentration camps. They were jews, gays, disabled people, people of mixed race, or Nazi political opponents too weren’t they? I think you’re just trying make up some crap to whitewash your racism.

        • Dani

Not just that. I think a lot of people know that there were quite a few Germans who helped victims out at the risk of their own lives (Schndler, Johannes Fromming, Felix Kersten, and the Kindertransport, just to name a few.)

  • UncommonStats™

Her statements were public knowledge. Channel 5 knew.. It was the jewish groups complaining which lead to her removal. Anything deemed anti-semetic is untouchable.

    • Bec

….when you’re praising the actions of a man who directed the mass genocide of an ethnic minority I would say that’s a little more than anti-semetism

      • Well we still celebrate Columbus day don’t we!

        • Bec

Both of my grandmothers are native and I’m very much opposed to celebrating that as well…but to sit there and say that this man was ‘misunderstood’ is disgusting. He rounded people up based on their religion and mass murdered men, women and children. I just don’t understand what kind of person would sympathize with that devil.

      • People praise Benjamin Netanyahu who is in the middle of a mass genocide of Palestinians but nobody seems to care

        • Bec

I’m going to go ahead and say that the two are not comparable. At all. Israel and Palestine are in a tug-of-war over land. Both sides are fighting each other in brutal ways.

Hitler declared war on citizens of his own country. Rounded them up in the middle of the night and sent them to their deaths.

    • Dani

Showing appreciation for a man who promoted the murder of different groups of people for being different (jews, gays, disabled people, POWs, roman catholics, deaf people, etc) should not be acceptable.

      • But people praise Benjamin Netanyahu and the Jews in Israel, they massacred 2000 people last summer just because they didn’t like their race, religion and the color of their skin.

        • Bec

You have a real hard on for Netanyahu, don’t cha?

        • Dani

There are non-Jews in Israel, including Arabs and the non-religious, plus there are Jewish sects that are anti-Zionism..

Besides, that war has a lot of grey areas. It is not at all black-or-white.

          • Bec

Thhaaannnkkkk yyyoouuu. Obviously this guy has never stepped foot in Israel. It’s EXTREMELY diverse

            • Dani

Np. A little education for the misinformed :p. Haifa and Jaffa are really multicultural.

But yeah, with the history there and both sides considering Jerusalem a holy place, I hope one day peace-seeking innocent civilians on both sides can eventually get together and come up with a way to end the conflict.

  • MsAwesomePants

So depression causes someone to sympathize with Hitler? Who knew?

What a crappy excuse for being an asshat.

    • BaltimoreAubrey

Tila has a documented history of a lot of mental illnesses, and yeah, mental illnesses can lead to strange and offensive views in many people. It doesn’t mean they always do.

The point is that the woman is a loon. She should have never been allowed on the show to start with. Surely they knew about her past. They were irresponsible to put her in to begin with. I think they did it just so they could eject her and cause controversy.

  • Deer Cam

“I want to be a good role model for my daughter”
*Leaves infant daughter to shoot reality show on a different continent*

  • twelfthnight

I feel like if Tila was really focused on the right things in life and out of this so-called bad place in her life, she’d be at home raising her daughter, not trying to be on a TV show she literally has to live on for however long.

She’s still attention-seeking, and that will not end well for her or that poor child.

  • BozzBalkan

Well, everything she said about Hitler is correct. Whoever doesnt agree with that is just a ignorant or afraid to admit the truth.

    • Bruja

      ‘Sup, Tila.

      And umm…

      No.

    • Drea

I can only assume you have some pen pals that are on death row.

    • Bec

I’m genuinely curious. How was Hitler misunderstood? Everything I’ve been lead to believe says that he was a monster. If you have the time, please answer that question

    • Alisson Leech

      Sarcastic much? Not funny!

  • Tautologous

I wanted to see her have sex with Austin like she said in the first episode. LOL.

  • Drea

“That is not the woman I have grown up to be today.” So… two years ago, when you were in your early thirties, is not as grown up as you are today, still in your early thirties. seriously?

  • BreeMorey

The top pic is really creepy unattractive….

  • Common Sense

She’s even a failure at suicide.
