After a rough road of cheating allegations and pregnancy rumors, Mario and Ramona Singer ended their 22 year marriage. Most people assumed the affair is what tore apart The Real Housewives of New York star’s relationship. However, Ramona is finally speaking out about what went wrong.
According to Ramona, it wasn’t the affair, but, rather, her success as a Bravolebrity that created a wedge between she and Mario.
“It was my success as a celebrity reality star and notoriety that bothered him,” she told People. “If someone said, ‘Can I take a photo with Ramona?’ or interrupted our conversation at dinner, he would get upset.”
Rather than communicate his frustrations, Ramona claims Mario bottled up his anger. “He could have jumped in but he continued to be passive,” she said. “The affair was really a symptom of unhappiness.”
Ramona has written a book titled Life on the Ramona Coaster in which she shares these and other intimate details of her life and marriage. The book is described as
