Police searching for “possibly pregnant” female suspect after a man was beaten to death following a Kenny Chesney concert

Kenny Chesney Concert Death

After attending the Kenny Chesney concert in Seattle on Saturday night, Benito Enriquez and friend Joey Smith agreed to meet at the car. First, though, Benito wanted to buy T-shirts for his two young children.

“So we made our way back and we saw the police activity and the road shut down,” Smith told King 5. “I said ‘This isn’t good,’ because he wasn’t there waiting for us.”

Joey later learned Benito was found on the ground with a severe head injury and without a pulse. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Now, Seattle police are requesting help from the public to identify the man and woman suspected in Benito’s killing.

Police believe the assailants are the same ones filmed walking with Benito right before he was beaten to death. The suspects are described as a Hispanic, Middle-Eastern or Pacific Islander man in his 20s, and a white woman in her 20s who may also be pregnant.

Benito’s mom, Christina Enriquez, asked for the public’s help in finding the suspects.

“I believe in justice and I know that we will find you,” she said, explaining her son was a nurse for the disabled, as well as a committed father. “We will find whoever is responsible for taking this beautiful life away.”

Kenny Chesney has not addressed the incident.
