Now we know why Miley Cyrus was trying on those wigs yesterday: The purple one was a key piece in her Lil’ Kim costume!
As most of us can’t forget (no matter how much we may try), Lil’ Kim’s surprised viewers of the 1999 MTV VMAs when she showed up on the red carpet with her left breast hanging out. During the live show, Diana Ross took it to the next level by giving Lil’ Kim’s boob a lil’ bounce.
Could this outfit be Miley’s subtle way of reminding us she wasn’t the first to shock and awe at the VMAs?! Possibly… Or maybe it was just her opportunity to go semi-topless in public, which is what she wanted all along.
After Miley posted the pictures, Lil’ Kim tweeted her support: “Awwww. Look at my baby @mileycyrus tonight!!! Looking GORGEOUS!!! I wish I was there to squeeze your boob 🙂 🙂 Love…”
Now we wait to see whether Miley’s brown wig is for a second costume… Any bets?
UPDATE Just saw some more pictures from Paris Hilton hanging out with Miley. As you’ll remember, Paris paid homage to Miley last weekend with a VMA costume of her own. Now Lil’ Kim needs to dress as Paris!
