Kim Kardashian sat down with Jay Leno last night for a little chat and cleared up some of the speculations and rumors circulating since the big engagement to Kanye West.
One of the things the reality star discussed in detail was her curvaceous tail being shared with the internet in that recent sexy swimsuit selfie. Kim told Jay:
“I was trying on a bathing suit, and I actually just sent that to my boyfriend, my fiancé, and I was like, ‘Babe, can I post this up? This is my big, like, middle finger to the world on everyone that called me fat,'”
She went on to say that she took all the public criticism of her weight gain during her pregnancy personally.
“It really hurt my soul. I was gaining weight because I was pregnant, and it was just really hard to read all these stories and hear all these nasty things … Why would I subject myself to so much negativity, especially now that I have a daughter? … I’ve definitely tried to live more of a private life because of that.”
She told Jay that she lost 50lbs on the Atkins diet and that it was the hardest thing she’s ever done.
Kim also gave a few possible hints as to how her big day with Kanye will happen. She stated that the pair are, “hoping for next summer” and will probably pick “somewhere destinational” – like Paris or Italy. “Maybe I’ll pick the place and then he can plan it.”
When she was asked if her stepdad Bruce Jenner, who is separated from her mom Kris Jenner, will be walking her down the aisle she answered, “Of course.” She also indicated that she will take West’s name. “I’m probably going to have Kardashian as my middle name and then West. My daughter has the last name West, and we’re a family, so I want to definitely be West.”
