Bethenny Frankel stepped out with daughter Bryn Hoppy in NYC today, and she looks so grown up! She’s so adorable, and she’s definitely starting to look a lot like her dad.
Bethenny’s talk show is really happening now after over a year of prep. She’s scheduled to begin syndicating 95% of national markets starting September 9. During a formal press conference several days ago Bethenny shared that her national show would tone down some of the sex stuff that happened on her trial run last summer. “(When) we came out of the gate, there was a lot of sex,” she said. “There will be sex on the show because I think it’s something that women are going through, whether they are having it or not. But there’s so much more to mention.”
Although she refused to talk about her still pending divorce with ex-husband Jason Hoppy, Bethenny did acknowledge that she would have to say something to address it on the first day of the show. “Look, I’ve had a rough year but I’ve had a great year,” she explained. “I’m very blessed. And we’re here, and let’s go through this and see what happens.” As of last month Bethenny and Jason had not worked out a settlement amount or custody arrangement for 3-year-old Bryn.
Bethenny made headlines recently for having no sympathy for Teresa and Joe Giudice’s fraud charges. “It’s almost like—not that you want to get caught—but people who love to be in the spotlight often have a lot of skeletons in their closet,” she said. “It’s just an interesting thing. Do I feel sorry for them? No, I don’t. Not so much, because it broke the law. You broke the law and you went on television. That’s not really that smart.”
