Jamie Lynn Sigler and her Washington Nationals beau Cutter Dykstra shared some exciting news on Twitter tonight — they just got engaged! After nearly a year of dating, Cutter proposed to the former Sopranos actress and she accepted — and tweeted a photo of her ring for fans to see.
“So this just happened….❤❤ @CutterDykstra,” Jamie wrote along with the photo of her and her hubby-to-be. In the picture, Jamie is proudly showing off her engagement ring. Moments after she posted the photo, her fiancé added, “She said yes!!”
The couple’s happy news traveled quickly and congratulatory messages poured in from the likes of Stacey London, Jennifer Tisdale, and plenty more, which lead to Jamie sending out another tweet to her friends and fans on Twitter which read, “Thank you so much for all the love everyone. I am so happy and more importantly lucky ! @CutterDykstra.”
“Jamie couldn’t be happier. Cutter is the perfect guy for her,” a source tells Us Weekly of Jamie’s relationship with the pro baseball player. “Although they have only been together for a year, they both know that this is it for both of them. They are both on cloud nine as are their families and friends.”
This will be the second marriage to Jamie who was previously married to her agent A.J. Discala but divorced in 2005 after just two years of marriage.
*Ed. note: That’s Meadow Soprano y’all! I feel so old…
