Flipping Out’s Jeff Lewis sues co-star Jenni Pulos

Flipping Out's Jeff Lewis sues assistant Jenni Pulos over book

It’s litigation by Bravo! Flipping Out star Jeff Lewis is suing assistant and co-star Jenni Pulos over her forthcoming book in an effort to prevent her from divulging details about his personal life and his business.

In a court complaint filed on Wednesday and obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Jeff Lewis says when he was made aware of the book last month, he was led to believe it would be about Jenni’s personal life. But based on the original title of the book, which was reportedly Hang In There, Baby: What One Of The World’s Most Difficult Bosses Taught Me About Life, Work And Love, it became evident the book wasn’t going to be completely about her personal life as represented – but on her experiences while working for plaintiffs and specifically her experiences as the personal assistant of Jeff for these past 10+ years.”

According to the complaint, Pulos signed non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements that prevent her from sharing private information about Lewis and his business.

It also reveals in the complaint that Pulos informed Lewis the book was not about him and that the title has since been changed to Hang In There, Baby, but when Lewis requested an advance copy of the manuscript Pulos refused to comply.

The lawsuit must have come as a surprise to Jenni Pulos because she tweeted earlier today, “Woke up this am, being sued by your boss is really putting on the Celebrity Cinderella Slipper, Bullies Aren’t Cool.”

I’m not usually ones to choose sides in celebrity disputes not having to do with physical abuse, but in this case I feel I should say… TEAM PULOS YO!!! In much the same way that Dave Chappelle reminded us that the only criminal defense needed by Michael Jackson was the fact that he recorded Thriller, Jenni Pulos wrote and recorded the Watch What Happens Live theme song “Midnight Boogie.” The Watch What Happens Live theme song!

Love you Jenni from the block! Go get ’em girl!

I thought this was a joke when I saw it. I hope this is just a pr stunt to help Jenni’s book and/or the show Flipping Out, which frankly is on it’s last legs sadly:(. I LOVE Jenni and Jeff (NOT gage)and the first couple seasons were so good. Good luck Jenni, and I’ll be reading that book when it comes out!

I support Jenni and hope she is able to go forward with her book. Jeff Lewis is more obnoxious than he is funny and one can only hope that some of his mean-spiritedness is exposed to the full extent. I imagine that he is a real creep behind the scenes.
