After putting together the missing links, authorities in Texas concluded 45-year-old Regina Shaw was the one who stole $6,400 worth of sausage from her employer, the Kiolbassa Provision Company.
According to the arrest affidavit obtained by The Smoking Gun, surveillance video caught Regina taking a “pallet of meat product” from Kiolbassa in September. She sold some of the meat to a man, who later accepted “more Kiolbassa” in lieu of the money she owed him for a loan. He identified her in a photo lineup “as the female that he purchased the meat product from.”
The saus-pect was arrested on Tuesday and simultaneously fired from her job. She was released on $5,000 bond just in time for Turkey Day.
