Dennis Hopper finally received his Hollywood Walk of Fame star today, just days after legal documents claimed he is in the last days of his 10-year fight with prostate cancer.
The Easy Rider star appeared thin and frail, but seemed happy to take pictures with his star, his plaque, and his young daughter Galen, who turned seven today. The 73-year-old actor, who’s most recent project was the Showtime television show Crash, is undergoing a stressful divorce with Galen’s mother, Victoria, who he’s been married to for fourteen years. His lawyer recently pleaded that he was too sick and weak to undergo a deposition in the divorce proceedings.
Dennis filed for divorce from Victoria in January, saying the stress from their relationship was deteriorating his health.
