MUG SHOT Chace Crawford arrested in Plano, Texas for pot possession

Gossip Girl superhunk Chace Crawford was initiated into the Ultra-Hip Dude’s Club early this morning when he was arrested just outside of Dallas with what police say was less than two ounces of marijuana. Olivia Namath mugshot photo from marijuana possession arrest

NFL Hall-of-Famer Joe Namath’s 19-year-old daughter Olivia Namath was arrested in Palm Beach County, Florida early Sunday morning and “charged with two counts of marijuana possession, including one with intent to sell, and with possession of alcohol by a minor,” according to The Palm Beach Post.

A Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputy pulled Olivia over for speeding after recording her doing 58 mph in a 50 mph zone. The deputy was checking her driver’s license when he noticed the smell of marijuana. A search of the car revealed a bag of pot on the driver’s-side floorboard and an additional 200.5 grams of weed were found in the trunk. The Post says “Namath ‘denied any knowledge’ of the marijuana, though she said no one else had access to her car trunk, according to the deputy’s report.”

VIDEOS PHOTO Lil’ Wayne arrested in Texas with a lil’ weed

The US Border Patrol found small traces of marijuana on a couple of rapper Lil’ Wayne’s tour buses (cannibuses?) near the Texas town of Falfurrias and the hip hop (hemp hop?) star is currently being detained, as are 11 others in his posse.

Details are sketchy at this point, but according to TMZ Lil’ Wayne’s entourage were part of a random search by Border Patrol agents that resulted in pot being found on two of the vehicles. It seems pot was not found on any of the persons, and contrary to the misleading headline of this post, no arrests have been made.
