Snooki, JWoww respond to being banned from filming in Jersey beachside town
Snooki and JWoww have been banned in the U.S.A. or at least a Jersey seaside town as residents said “no thanks” to having the reality stars filming in their neighborhood.
Berkeley Township, on New Jersey’s Pelican Island, have stopped the Jersey Shore veterans from staying and filming Snooki & JWoww there in the upcoming months as planned. A group of residents, who’ve been rebuilding much of the area since it was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy, hired attorney R.S. Gasiorowski to help them in their quest to keep MTV from filming there.
They were successful as town officials cited zone ordinances as their reason for the shut down. Gasiorowski said:
“There are other areas of the township where this type of activity could take place in zones where this would be covered.”
Snooki and Jwoww, never ones known to hold back on expressing their opinions, responded via Twitter:
Snooki: “If my “actions” like playing with my son is bringing the wrong “crowd” , obviously we are on too different pages here.I stick up for my fam.”
JWoww: “Laughing so hard over these reports @snooki … Who would’ve thought 2 girls can piss so many people off #embracethehaters.”
The owner of the house in question, Mike Loundy, is also the same guy who owned the now infamous Ocean Terrace beach house used for the taping of Jersey Shore in neighboring Seaside Heights.
