VIDEO Snooki and JWoww final season preview trailer
It’s been almost five years since the world was introduced to guidette besties Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley on the controversial premiere episode of MTV’s Jersey Shore. Viewers watched this generation’s versions of Laverne and Shirley as they GTLed through six seasons of drinking, clubbing, drinking, smushing, drinking and developing a historic (and hysterical) friendship.
But, just as thousand of youths return home after a summer partying it up in a beach house on the shore to face real life, Snooki and JWoww left Jersey Shore and the destructive hedonism of youth behind to start new lives as wives and mothers. Never ones to be shy, the duo invited the MTV cameras and millions of viewers along as they took this next step, and the result has been three seasons (so far) of their hugely popular Snooki & JWoww reality show.
With one little meatball (Lorenzo Dominic LaValle) already and two more (Giovanna Marie LaValle and Meilani Alexandra Mathews) on the way, the upcoming fourth season will be the last for Snooki and JWoww as they prepare to walk down the aisle and settle in to being parents — and neighbors. The final season is set to premiere Wednesday, November 5 at 10/9c, and earlier today MTV posted the first preview trailer, which suggests this season will be yet another emotional roller coaster ride as JWoww gives birth to her first child and Snooki follows right behind with her second — all while wedding bells continue to chime in the distance:
My favorite moments from the clip:
“I have never been more proud to be a part of a show,” said SallyAnn Salsano, Founder & President of 495 Productions. “Since their first steps on the Jersey Shore, I have watched these women go out, accomplish big things and find exactly what they wanted out of their lives: a ‘guido-husband/fiancé’ and to start their own families. I love these ladies and we will end this series on MTV with a bang as their lives are just getting started! Personally, I can’t wait to put Lorenzo, Meilani, and Giovanna in the Jersey Shore house one day.”
MTV’s President of Programming, Susanne Daniels, chimed in her accolades as well. “It’s the last and best season yet,” she said. “Two babies and a wedding! Snooki and JWoww do it like nobody else and viewers will have one more chance to see their meaningful once-in-a-lifetime adventures.”
I, for one, want to continue to keep up with these two, and I think I’ve come up with a way to do it. Who’s ready for Season 1 of Jionni & Roger?
