Kim Kardashian’s look at last night’s Met Gala was noticeably subdued, which meant the door was wide open for Kendall Jenner to take her place as the most talked-about member of the family the day after. And the 21-year-old did not disappoint, wearing a dress of black chain mail that looks like it sounds like the ghost of Jacob Marley coming to warn Kendall about the perils of squandering her time on earth through poor vetting of lucrative endorsements.
And also she showed off her ass. Kendall documented the look with a few flattering shots on her Instagram page, but here’s an almost frumpy shot from early in the evening:
Given that look, it’s probably unsurprising that Kendall allegedly had an official new boyfriend by the end of the night. Devotées will recall that stories about Kendall Jenner dating A$AP Rocky began circulating last summer; the 28-year-old rapper (whose real name is Rakim Mayers) was originally linked to Kendall because they both have deep ties to the fashion industry. In 2013, A$AP even launched his own 90s-themed fashion line, featuring $140 pants.
Anyway, we apparently know they’re dating despite Kendall’s best efforts at keeping her private life private because Kim “DL” Kardashian snuck a picture of Rakim grabbing Kendall’s ass and shared it on Snapchat. And because they were also cheek-to-cheek in the reverse-bathroom selfie that Kylie took before the cameras disappeared and the assemblage got truly debauched.
Also because, according to a People insider, she’s “definitely been showing more interest” in him for the past couple of months. And if you translate that statement from the gossip dialect, it really means that the two of them are only one rumor away from eloping on a tropical island, and just two removed from pregnancy talk.
