PHOTOS Heidi Klum and Seal in superhero Halloween costumes 2010

Infamous for her outlandish Halloween costumes and for hosting the biggest and best Halloween party on the planet, supermodel and host of Project Runway Heidi Klum did not disappoint in 2010! For her 11th Annual Halloween Party the Amazonian blond grew about a foot and a half taller thanks to some boot stilts that were part of an elaborate red and purple robot costume right out of a classic Jack Kirby comic book!

Always one to appreciate the value of accessories, Heidi brought along her husband Seal who looked like a cross between the Incredible Hulk and the Silver Surfer in his padded metallic muscle suit!

In my mind Kim Kardashian (who wore a sexy Little Red Riding Hood costume to Heidi’s shindig) will always wear the crown of Queen of Halloween, but no one can hang with the outright audaciousness of Heidiween!

(So how does a celebrity blogger get invited to this thing anyway? I really want to go to there!)

The Office delivered yet another hilarious Halloween-themed episode last night with the episode “Costume Contest” featuring a plethora of outfits ranging from MacGruber to a trans-gendered Lady Gaga!

But without a doubt there was one costume that stole the show and that was the chronically conservative accountant Angela, who started out as an adorable penguin, but walked the contest runway in a Frederick’s of Hollywood inspired sexy nurse costume!

Hurricane Sandy forced Heidi Klum’s to cancel her annual Halloween bash in October, but the Project Runway host “made it work” by rescheduling the bash for December 1, renaming the event “The 2012 Haunted Holiday Party” and making it into a fundraiser for the American Red Cross! 39-year-old Klum didn’t disappoint as she once again delivered an over-the-top costume, this time coming as Cleopatra, complete with massive gold wings, sky-high elevated platform shoes, and a jewel-encrusted face!
