PHOTOS Chelsea Handler quit Instagram after they removed her topless picture three times

Chelsea Handler v Instagram

If you want to see topless pictures of Chelsea Handler, don’t bother checking Instagram: The former Chelsea Lately host quit using the photo-sharing platform after Instagram executives removed a topless picture she posted three times.

Chelsea first attempted to post a breast-baring image of her riding a horse alongside a similar picture of Russia’s Vladmir Putin yesterday. She commented, “Anything a man can do, a woman has the right to do better #kremlin.” (Her picture was uncensored.)

When the Instagram moderators took down the picture the first time, Chelsea reposted it. She argued, “Taking this down is sexist. I have every right to prove I have a better body than Putin.”

Instagram wasn’t convinced… They took it down again and sent a message to Chelsea about why it violated their polices. She posted the notification and quipped that it’s like we’re in the 19th century.

If a man posts a photo of his nipples, it's ok, but not a woman? Are we in 1825?

She then gave it one final shot and said, “If instagram takes this down again, you’re saying Vladimir Putin Has more 1st amendment rights than me. Talk to your bosses.” Predictably, the picture was promptly removed.

Chelsea then decided to remove herself from Instagram, which she announced with the help of her two dogs: “You can now find my dogs and my breasts on Twitter only where my followers have the right to choose what they say. Bye bye instablock.”

Indeed, Chelsea’s original topless picture is still visible on her Twitter page, which she largely used to repost Instagram pictures up until this point.
